These are a "SNUG" fitting child's noise cancelling headphone. They don't block all noise but dull out the loud noises and worked great for us. They are a bit tight and if your little one is overly sensitive to the pressure from them it could be an issue. The snugness really helped keep these on while on rides like rollercoasters.
We are not big proponents of lots of screen time but in certain cases it can be a life saver. We have had tablets break and run out of battery during to worse times in travel, I recommend having a back up inexpensive tablet with some movies or non-wifi games to help pass time (especially when flying). You can get re-furbished tablets like this on Amazon for around $50 normally.
This car seat is great for travelling. Its a bit smaller and lighter than a typical car seat. Its approved for aviation travel, so it can sit right on the airplane seat and you can buckle the car seat to the airplane seat. I have used it rear and front facing on economy airlines (frontier) at it fit perfect. We added the car to wheel it around and it was a huge help. We were able to leave our daughter in the seat while we were navigating through the airport.
I cant find the exact one of these that we used but this is basically the same. The car seat hooks to this and you can wheel the seat through the airport with ease with or without your child inside. We left our daughter in the seat which was a big help with eloping and she thought it was like a ride. I don't know if there is a bigger travel hack that I can think of than this.
When Pearl was big enough to sit on the airplane seat by herself we got this car seat cover to gate check it. It has back pack straps to help free up your hands for everything else you have to carry. I like to bring our carseat when we travel opposed to renting one. Besides the familiarly of her normal car seat, you not able to "skip the rental line" if you need to rent a carseat. Places like Orlando you can be in the rental car line for HOURS. I recommend prepaying for your rental and choose the "Skip the Line" option.
Portable fans are always great to have for traveling to any hot climate. This one is especially nice because it has a large battery and can double as a power bank if needed. I have used this fan on medium for around 12 straight hours before it died. Definitely worth the money. I do think next time I would choose the clip over the flexible arms, but its not a deal breaker.
There are so many ways these little things can be helpful. You can simply slip them into your child's pocket, attached them to their shoe lace, they sell bracelets you can hook them to as well. If you ever find yourself separated from you little one, you can quickly and accurately track them down. We hook them to the stoller, in our daughters pocket, in our luggage so we can see if it made it on and off the plane. They are quick and easy to set up.
Okay so this is not travel related but I wanted to share it any way. We bought this sensory swing two years ago, and Pearl still uses this every single day. When she needs to get some energy out or just to sit and watch TV but needs to keep moving. The swing has held up great and was simple to install, just really make sure its in the Stub centered. I also used so better bolts for added security.
